June 24th - Beauty & Fun on the Riverfront

Thank you One River Mississippi for a fantastic late afternoon on the riverfront. It was beautiful, relaxed, and the weather, well PERFECT.

I think everyone who was there would join the "stranger" who phoned One River Mississippi director Marylee Hardenbergh, to say, "I’m sorry if I am bothering you. I got your name out of the phone book and I just wanted to say thank you for giving the river back to the people."

RDC Changes CIP Budget Request

Even the RDC felt the pinch of this year's budget-tightening. Just prior to the presentation of their CIP request to the Council's CIP Budget Committee, some numbers changed. It was good news for the Public Promenade and Cobblestones and mixed news on the Beale Street Landing project.Read more »
